About the Project

Indicators of Land and Water in the Colorado River Basin is a project of the Babbitt Center for Land and Water Policy, a center of the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy. This project seeks to develop indicators to track changes in the use and condition of land and water, measure progress in integrating land use planning and water resource management in the Colorado River Basin and Adjacent Areas Served and foster new collaborations and partnerships to help answer pressing issues facing those that rely on the Colorado River’s Waters. This project combines this web report with a geospatial dashboard and open data repositories. It is an ongoing collaborative effort among several centers within the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy and many external partners whom we gratefully acknowledge.
